The project saved 6,800,000 kWh in 3 years
Santa Farma İlaç’s HVAC Systems Economy and Energy Monitoring Project was deemed worthy of the 2021 Efficiency Project Award by the Strategic Research and Efficiency General Directorate of the TR Ministry of Industry and Technology.
At the ceremony held in the IT Valley with the participation of Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank, companies that contribute to the development of the country with their productivity-oriented projects were awarded.
With the HVAC Systems Economy and Energy Monitoring Project, which is the first in the Turkish pharmaceutical industry, Santa Farma has saved energy and natural resources equivalent to 3,455 households electricity, 800 households natural gas, 24,000 households water consumption in 3 years. With the methods developed within the scope of the project, optimizing energy and natural resource consumption, 6,800,000 kW of electricity, 800,000 Sm³ of natural gas and 24,000 m³ of water have been saved.
