Burçak Çelik, who has been working as Roche Diagnostics Turkey General Manager and Head of Turkey & Central Asia and Caucasian Countries Management Center since 2016, will assume the leadership of Roche Diagnostics Italy as of July 1, 2022.
Roche made a new leadership appointment to strengthen its worldwide structure. Burçak Çelik, who has been Roche Diagnostics Turkey General Manager and Head of Turkey & Central Asia and Caucasian Countries Management Center since 2016, has been appointed as Roche Diagnostics Italy General Manager. Burçak Çelik will start her new role as of July 1, 2022 and will continue to be a member of the Roche Diagnostics EMEA-LATAM Region Leadership Team.
About Burçak Çelik:
Burçak Çelik, who started her career at Pfizer, held various positions in Turkey and abroad. Çelik joined Roche Pharmaceuticals Turkey in 2007 and took on increasing responsibilities in different business units over the years. Appointed as Roche Pharma Management Center South Africa & Sub-Saharan Africa General Manager in 2012, Çelik assumed the role of regional leadership headquartered in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Burçak Çelik was appointed as Roche Diagnostics Turkey General Manager and Head of Turkey & Central Asia and Caucasian Countries Management Center in 2016. During her leadership for about 6 years, she took part in local and global projects that improved the lives of patients with more digital solutions as part of Roche’s focus on digitalization in healthcare services. Under the leadership of Çelik, important contributions were made to the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, with diagnostic solutions offered for use in response to the needs arising under pandemic conditions, as well as many projects that added value to the Turkish healthcare ecosystem. Leading the agile transformation journey of Roche Diagnostics Turkey, Çelik also contributed to the company’s cultural change with its focus on “People”.
Burçak Çelik will lead the Roche Diagnostics Italy team, based in Monza, Italy, as of July 1, 2022.
