500 thousand dollars of investment in the health tourism marketplace New Me.
New Me, an aesthetic-focused health tourism marketplace that brings together patients from abroad and healthcare institutions in Turkey, has received a $500,000 investment in a tour that included Keiretsu Forum Turkey.
New Me has a five-year local market experience under the name Yeniben and is a vertical health tourism marketplace that was launched a year ago with a strong team and a completely global vision.
New Me plans to be the leading marketplace that brings together health tourists and healthcare institutions in countries that are advanced in health tourism, particularly in Turkey.
Ahmet Fırat, the founder of New Me, emphasized that they are the only and leading company in their field in Turkey and that users can get unbiased information about treatment and healthcare institutions through New Me. They can also make treatment payments online, meet all their needs, such as transfer and accommodation, receive support during their processes from health consultants, and have video consultations with doctors.
The most important points that distinguish New Me from existing solutions are its neutrality, transparency, abundance of options, third-party services such as hotel-transfer-accompaniment services and complication insurance, as well as technological solutions such as online payments, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence.
Fırat also stated that their revenue models include commission and advertisement-based subscriptions from healthcare institutions (hospitals, clinics, agencies) and third-party organizations (hotels, transfers, accompaniment services, etc.), as well as an advertising model with brands. “Our monthly GMV growth rate is over 50% in dollar terms, and our monthly growth rate in foreign patient traffic is already over 30%. We received a $500,000 investment in a tour that included Keiretsu Forum Turkey. With this investment, our goal is to take at least 5% of the healthcare tourism market share in Turkey and consolidate our leadership position in Turkey within three years. We also aim to be among the top five health tourism marketplaces in the world,” said Fırat.
